Job summary

NextLink is seeking a Field Installation Technician in Texas to perform on-site installations and service visits. You will troubleshoot issues at customer locations, install Internet equipment, and configure networks to ensure reliable service.

Role requires climbing, lifting up to 60 pounds, and working outdoors in varied weather. A clean driving record and drug/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
• Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore service.
• Install Internet service at new customer locations.
• Configure routers and customer computers for access to Internet services.
• Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
