Job summary
Nextlink is seeking a Field Installation Technician to perform on-site installations, service visits, and on-site troubleshooting for residential and business customers in Texas. You will install, configure, and upgrade Internet equipment, test connectivity, and ensure customers have reliable service.
The role emphasizes professional presentation, strong communication, and safe operation of tools and equipment, with on-call and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
- Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore functional service.
- Install new customers with Internet service based on technology available.
- Configure routers and customer computers for access to Internet services.
- Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
