Job summary
SHOTOVER Systems is seeking a hands-on technical support professional to diagnose and resolve complex electronics and software issues in aircraft systems. The role requires frequent travel (50–75%), working directly with customers in the field, and providing on-site and remote support across hardware and software interfaces.
You'll troubleshoot, configure SHOTOVER equipment in diverse aircraft, and contribute to product development through debugging and testing.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of electronics and interfaces (Ethernet, serial).
- Proficient in C/C++ and able to debug and fix problems.
- Experience with testing using multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Willingness to travel 50–75% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot on-site with customers and configure SHOTOVER equipment.
- Analyze system behavior and implement code changes to fix faults.
- Travel with customers on rotor and fixed-wing aircraft.
- Support customers by phone and participate in on-call rotation.
- Create detailed tickets and manage in a ticketing system.
