Heads Up Technologies is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to design, configure, integrate, test, and support advanced aircraft cabin systems. The role requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions and to support installations and commissioning.

The position emphasizes hands-on systems engineering with substantial travel, up to 50 percent, and significant customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline required.
• At least two years systems engineering in aerospace or five years avionics technician experience with customer focus.
• Ability to travel up to 50 percent to customer sites and events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience with audio/video systems, aircraft electronics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with XML, databases, networking, and error log analysis.
• U.S. citizenship is required for work eligibility.
• Must participate in on-call support rotations for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, test, and support advanced aircraft cabin systems.
• Translate customer requirements into reliable system solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams for product updates based on customer needs.
• Develop test cases and procedures for system level coverage.
