Job summary

Heads Up Technologies is seeking a customer-focused Field Systems Engineer to design, configure, integrate, test, and support advanced aircraft cabin systems. This role partners closely with customers and internal teams to translate technical requirements into reliable system solutions, support aircraft installations and commissioning, and troubleshoot fielded systems.

The position combines hands on systems engineering with significant customer engagement and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or avionics experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customer-facing roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites and events.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and document tail specific configurations and interfaces.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate customer requirements.
• Set up and test proof of concept ideas for new products.
• Create system configuration files based on customer wiring and block diagrams.
• Configure cabin control app interfaces for aircraft installations.
• Provide timely technical support and troubleshoot fielded systems.
