Job summary

Altitude Development Group in Merrillville, IN is seeking an Insurance Sales Consultant for outside sales. You will meet with business owners and managers to present supplemental insurance products, develop relationships, and manage your own schedule in a defined territory.

You’ll call on new and existing clients, set follow-up appointments, and deliver product presentations to groups. Licensing is encouraged with reimbursement, and advancement is based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must have Health & Life insurance license or be willing to obtain (licensing reimbursement offered)
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional outside sales experience
• Excellent communication, objection handling, and self-motivation

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners and managers to present supplemental insurance products.
• Develop lasting relationships and build trust with clients.
• Manage your own schedule and territory with weekly/monthly targets.
• Call on new and existing clients, set follow-up appointments, and maintain your book of business.
• Present to employee groups, ranging from small teams to large audiences.
