Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Installation and Repair Technician to install and support client systems at customer locations. You will handle setup, troubleshooting, and repairs, with travel to sites as needed and provision of necessary tools and safety equipment.

The role requires reading technical diagrams, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Installation Technician or Repair Technician.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and installation guides.
• Strong mechanical and electrical component knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time on job sites.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment and systems per standards and customer requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation or operation.
• Repair and replace faulty components to restore functionality.
• Conduct system tests to ensure performance after installation or repair.
• Maintain accurate records of work, parts, and time.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and basic user support.
