Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a proven Field Service / Machine Build Leader in Columbus, OH to own field execution from planning through installation and customer handoff. You will build and lead a high-performing team of field technicians and trades.

The ideal candidate has automation manufacturing, robotics, or tier 1 automotive experience, strong project scheduling, safety leadership, and the ability to work closely with customers onsite. Travel 60–70% is required.

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading a field service, machine build, installation, or deployment team in automation manufacturing, robotics or tier 1 automotive manufacturing.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing field technicians, skilled trades, or machine-build personnel.
• Proven experience leading complex industrial equipment builds, installations, or deployments end-to-end.
• Strong project execution, scheduling, customer-facing, and problem-solving skills.
• Read drawings and schematics with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Safety-first mindset with experience leading work in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Developing processes, standard work, and continuous improvement programs.
• Willing and able to travel 60–70%, including extended customer-site assignments.
