Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service engineer for on-site installation and maintenance of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy equipment in the Baltimore area. You will diagnose, repair, and calibrate complex systems, train customers, and ensure safe operation according to CAP and company guidelines.

You will travel up to 10 days with 4 days off per year, receive a company vehicle for use, and be eligible for overtime, bonuses, PTO, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with electronic/electro-mechanical engineering and RF energy devices
• Proficient with test equipment used for verification and calibration

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems and perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, service and repair
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system
• Serve as liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
• Support a wide range of system hardware/software, PCs, and networking/wireless installs and upgrades
• Document installation and upgrade work in company systems and ensure accurate customer data
