Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field-based Installation Technician responsible for on-site installation, testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video systems. You will coordinate with sales, project engineering, field service, electricians, plumbers, and hospital staff.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, with travel, lodging, and meals paid per policy. Strong problem-solving, communication, and safety compliance are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of technical experience or comparable skill set.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC skills.
• Able to interpret wire diagrams and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install surgical light suspension systems, booms, video integration systems and cabling per specifications.
• Perform on-site tests, quality checks and documentation before project sign-off.
• Coordinate travel and lodging logistics; update project stakeholders regularly.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment and ensure safety standards.
