Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field installation specialist to manage on-site installation of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems. You will work with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, with travel, lodging and meals covered by the company policy. You will interpret CAD drawings, manage inventory, and deliver clear progress updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years related technical experience in telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction or medical devices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates a professional work ethic and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Confirm site readiness and inventory installable equipment; update stakeholders.
• Install surgical light suspension systems and video integration; follow safety standards.
• Program and test video integration sources per design specs and document results.
• Maintain records of installation tasks and provide training to customers as needed.
• Coordinate travel and manage daily schedules to complete installations.
