Job summary

Stryker is seeking an on-site Installation Technician to reliably install surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems across sites. You will manage wiring, cabling, and testing per design specifications while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 0–2 years of technical experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel overnight. A High School diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 0–2 years related technical experience (telecom, video/audio installation, electrical/construction, medical device).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install surgical light suspension systems, booms, video integration systems, and cabling per designs.
• Perform pre-installation readiness checks and inventory of equipment and communicate issues.
• Document installation activities and maintain accurate records for project sign-off.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and manage daily schedules to ensure timely completion of installation activities.
• Provide basic customer training and update stakeholders on project progress.
