Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc is seeking inspector applicants qualified to work in the USA with direct experience in commercial loss control inspections or a VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course. The job involves scheduling, inspecting properties for life safety, and submitting detailed online reports with photos and measurements.

Preferred candidates can work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate well in writing.

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections.
Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, and workers' compensation.
Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing.
Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.

Responsibilities

Receives assignments electronically and reviews for inspection requirements.
Schedules the inspection appointment with the Insured by phone, email, or text.
Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety; take 20-35 exterior/interior photos.
Interviews the Insured for operations information and ages of building systems.
Communicates inspection status through online application.
Completes the inspection report on the Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch and returns the completed report electronically.
