Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. is seeking qualified field inspectors to perform loss control inspections for commercial properties in the United States. The role is an independent contractor position with fees per case, based on customer, inspection type, and complexity.

Applicants should have direct experience in commercial line inspections or completed a training course such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course. Travel within a 50-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the USA and inspect commercial properties.
• Experience completing commercial line inspections or training course.
• Willingness to travel approximately a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews inspection requirements.
• Schedules appointments with insured via phone, email, or text.
• Inspects property for hazards across utilities and building systems; takes 20–35 photos.
• Interviews insured for operations information and system ages.
• Communicates inspection status through online application.
• Completes inspection report in Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch and returns digitally.
