Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction/Operations/Maintenance Inspector in Huntsville, AL. The role involves inspecting construction, operations, and maintenance activities to ensure conformance with NASA MSFC standards and contract drawings.

You will review submittals in Procore, evaluate progress payments, and generate daily and site inspection reports. A US citizenship and a valid driver’s license are required, with strong organizational skills and attention to

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and pass federal background review and drug screen.
• 5+ years of applicable experience on construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Ability to read and understand construction contract drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure conformance with contract drawings, specifications and NASA standards at MSFC.
• Review submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Evaluate contractor requests for progress payments.
• Prepare daily inspection reports summarizing progress and schedule.
• Generate Inspectors Site Inspection Reports and keep them current.
