Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum.
• College degree in Construction Management is a plus.
• 3+ years of applicable inspection experience on construction projects preferred.
• Master or journeyman HVAC/electrical experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure conformance with contract drawings, specs, and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review construction submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Evaluate requests for progress payments for accuracy.
• Generate daily site inspection reports showing progress and schedule status.
• Maintain organized working files for correspondence, meetings, payments, and punch lists.
• Review RFI and contract documents to ensure continuity of construction efforts.
• Assist in final inspections and punch-list validation prior to final payment.
• Review as-built drawings for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
• Offer comments on O&M manuals for completeness and accuracy.
