Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction/Operations/Maintenance Inspector to monitor work at MSFC standards in Huntsville, AL.

The role emphasizes reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals, with Procore used for tracking and reporting. Applicants should have a high school diploma at minimum; a Construction Management degree is a plus, and 3+ years of inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Construction Management degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inspection experience on construction projects is preferred.
• HVAC and/or electrical trade experience highly valued.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and O&M manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction, operations, maintenance and repair work per contract drawings and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Evaluate contractor requests for progress payments.
• Prepare daily inspection reports detailing progress and schedule.
• Maintain organized project files and correspondence.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents to ensure continuity of work.
• Assist in final inspections and punch lists prior to final payment.
• Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for accuracy.
