Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Facilities Operations & Maintenance Inspector in Huntsville, AL to monitor construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring conformance with MSFC standards and contract drawings.

The role focuses on surveillance, submittal reviews, RFIs, and progress reporting to support timely, safe project delivery. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 3+ years of inspection experience, and familiarity with Procore;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of inspection experience preferred.
• HVAC master/journeyman experience valued.
• Electrical journeyman experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance to ensure work conforms with contract drawings, specs and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review construction submittals and monitor them via Procore.
• Review and evaluate progress payment requests.
• Provide daily inspection reports and update project schedules.
• Maintain orderly project files and correspondence.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents; track amendments and change orders.
• Assist in pre-final and final inspections; prepare punch-lists for final payment.
• Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for accuracy.
