The role emphasizes field work, negotiating terms, and collaborating with teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Travel up to 50% and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills and focus on long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of scrap metals and market pricing trends preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage supplier relationships while sourcing ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Negotiate purchases, pricing, contracts, and shipment terms to maximize profitability.
• Prospect and visit new customers across industrial accounts, retail, dealers, and demolition projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely deliveries and service.
• Maintain supplier records, lead times, and inventory data for planning and compliance.
