American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to identify, develop, and manage supplier relationships while sourcing ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. The role blends business development, account management, and strategic purchasing in a dynamic territory.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills to build long-term customer relationships.
• Knowledge of scrap metals and market pricing is a plus.
• Excellent communication and proficiency with MS Office or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate commodity purchases of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, including pricing, contracts, and shipment terms.
• Prospect and visit new customers across industrial accounts, retail, dealers, and demolition projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, manage lead times and records for planning.
• Drive growth by identifying solutions that improve scrap recovery and meet sourcing quotas.
