Job summary

PerkinElmer seeks an Inorganic Sales Specialist to cover the Mid-Atlantic region (DE, MD, DC, VA) with a field remote role. You will drive sales of AA, ICP and ICP/MS systems, interface with customers, and partner with service teams to grow market share.

The position requires a chemistry background, 3-5 years in analytical instrumentation sales, and the ability to travel about 50% of the time. Company vehicle provided and a commission plan complements base pay.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3-5 years direct sales experience selling analytical instrumentation or laboratory experience as it relates to the products being sold.
• Willingness to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales volume by executing regional and company strategies, managing current accounts and targeting new ones.
• Develop and implement business plans with territory and funnel management to improve forecasts and growth.
• Cultivate customer partnerships and provide consultative solutions leveraging product knowledge.
• Collaborate with regional sales, service, and product teams to support events and customer service.
