Job summary

Weil-McLain is seeking a Field-based Technical Training Manager to develop and deliver hydronic heating product, installation, and troubleshooting training to contractors, distributors, engineers, and sales professionals. You will support regional managers by strengthening technical competency throughout the channel and help customers specify, install, and service Weil-McLain products.

This role requires deep hydronics knowledge, exceptional teaching, and strong communication skills to translate

Qualifications

• 5+ years within hydronics/HVAC or related field (sales, service, installation, training).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with boiler mechanical/electrical applications.
• Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems, controls, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Translate complex concepts for contractors, distributors, engineers and sales teams.
• Coordinate training activities and travel with strong organizational skills.
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Technical Service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% including overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training on hydronic heating products, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Support Regional and Territory Sales Managers by strengthening technical competency.
• Assist with new product introductions and field education.
• Coordinate training schedules, travel arrangements, and follow-up actions.
• Serve as a technical resource between customers and Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.
