Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States seeks a field HVAC technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems on-site at customer locations. You will work with team leaders to forecast issues, gather materials, and complete on-site tasks per engineering specs.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Certification, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices. Benefits start Day One and include 401K match and time off.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC.
• Technical School or formal training is preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computer.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with clean record.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Represents company as direct customer contact and is responsible for equipment on assigned projects.
• Uses hand tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintains safety standards and security of company assets; may work overtime and weekends.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems on-site.
