Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a field service technician to service and commission commercial HVAC systems at customer sites. You will diagnose problems, perform maintenance, and startup/commission equipment in diverse facilities such as healthcare and education campuses.

You will collaborate with customers and project managers, using blueprints or specs to guide repairs, while upholding safety and quality. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and a handheld device.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months is required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, programming download, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as the primary customer contact to ensure satisfaction and diagnose equipment.
• Coordinate with the team and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use hands-on tools and reference blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets, including after-hours work as needed.
