Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC service technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems at customer facilities. You will work with facility teams and partners, applying knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA Certification, and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience and ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Must hold EPA certification and a valid driver?s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain safety and accountability for company assets on site.
