Job summary

Pilot Company is hiring an HVAC/R technician to install, maintain, and repair facility systems across the St. Marys, GA region. You will service HVAC, food service equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems at multiple locations, with a company vehicle and tools supplied.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in work orders, and staying compliant with OSHA and Pilot Company policies. Expect 45–50+ hours weekly and home-based dispatch with port-to-port pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA guidelines familiarity (OSHA 10 training provided).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in accordance with warranty requirements and industry standards.
• Communicate repair status with the service technician supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit them to your supervisor; ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and related systems; participate in safety and maintenance tasks.
