Job summary

Pilot Company in Beloit, WI is seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to install, maintain and repair facility systems across our store network. You’ll be dispatched from home, work 45–50+ hours per week, and receive a company vehicle, tools, and a stipend for safety gear.

This role requires EPA Universal 608, 3 years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair, plus the ability to read site drawings and communicate with store management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per warranty and standards.
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit to supervisor; ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems (training provided).
• Inspect interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, and food service equipment.
• Ensure all repairs comply with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations.
• Model company values and support guest and team member experiences.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and safety standards.
