Job summary

Pilot Company in the Kearney, NE region is seeking a skilled facilities technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems across multiple store locations.

You will be dispatched from home, work 45–50+ hours per week, with weekends off and pay based on performance; a company vehicle and tools are provided. OSHA safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Basic ability to repair plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and diagnose issues in HVAC, food equipment, and electrical systems.
• Repair, replace, and maintain equipment in multiple store locations.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and company-issued devices.
• Document work orders accurately and communicate status to supervision.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Pilot Company safety standards.
• Collaborate with store management and internal teams as needed.
