Job summary

Pilot Company in Flagstaff, AZ, is seeking an on-site Facilities Technician to install, service, and repair HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and food service equipment at multiple locations. You will be dispatched from home but work primarily in-field, with weekend-free schedules and a company vehicle provided.

You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance while upholding Pilot Company standards and guest service. A valid license and EPA 608 are required.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC service experience (3+ years)
• EPA Universal 608 certification required
• 3+ years repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• OSHA guidelines knowledge (OSHA 10 training provided)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings
• Travel <10%

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per warranty and standards
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit to supervisor; proper charge allocations
• Monitor and maintain stock levels
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards
• Repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems (training provided)
• Inspect interiors/exteriors for safety and maintenance issues
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, refrigeration, fryers
• Ensure repairs comply with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations
• Model company values and support guest and team member experiences
• Follow all policies and safety standards
