Job summary

The Pilot Company in the Burlington, NC region is seeking a skilled HVAC/R technician to install, maintain, and repair facility systems across multiple store locations. You’ll be dispatched from home and work 45–50+ hours per week, with weekly pay and a company vehicle provided.

You will handle rooftop HVAC units, commercial cooking/refrigeration equipment, fuel dispensers, plumbing, and electrical systems, while following OSHA safety standards and Pilot Company policies.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required; 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• 3+ years repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and diagnose equipment per warranty standards.
• Communicate repair status to supervisor and store management.
• Maintain stock levels and keep the service vehicle and tools in good condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units and food service equipment.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
