Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Field-based HVAC/Controls technician to start up and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems at customer locations. You will apply knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, refrigeration theory, and related techniques in diverse commercial settings.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience, a valid driver's license, and preferred DDC/ EPA credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.
• DDC controls experience preferred; EPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commission new systems on customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as primary customer contact on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define requirements.
• Uphold safety standards and manage assets on site.
