Job summary

Pearce Services in the United States is seeking an HSE Specialist to advance health, safety, and environmental objectives across Solar, ESS, UPS, Battery, Wind, and EV operations. This field-focused role partners with operational teams to strengthen safety performance, with emphasis on electrical and driver safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HSE, safety coordination, or related safety experience.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and hazards in field operations.
• Experience supporting driver and vehicle safety programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, field audits, safety inspections, and corrective action tracking.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; Cal/OSHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and achieve safety objectives with HSE and Operations leadership.
• Promote a safety culture focused on zero harm, electrical safety, safe work practices, and vehicle incident prevention.
• Coach leaders and field technicians on HSE expectations and safety standards.
• Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations for compliance.
• Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans for electrical and driver safety.
• Lead investigations involving injuries, electrical and vehicle incidents, near misses, and other events.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Track injuries, incidents, corrective actions, and HSE metrics.
• Manage the driver safety program, analyze incidents, and reduce preventable incidents.
• Develop and deliver HSE training on electrical hazards, safe driving, and operational risks.
• Develop and update HSE policies and communications for compliance and improvement.
• Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks for field teams.
• Coordinate with customers to align with HSE requirements and expectations.
• Monitor trends and advise leadership on risk and improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of HSE management systems and reporting processes.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state requirements; travel nationwide.
• Travel to project sites throughout the United States to provide hands-on HSE support.
