Job summary

Pearce is seeking an HSE Specialist to advance health, safety, and environmental objectives across Solar, ESS, UPS, Battery, Wind, and EV ops. You will partner with operations teams to strengthen safety performance, conduct audits, investigate incidents, identify risks, and provide training to employees and leaders.

You will travel extensively to support field operations across the United States. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and electrical safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HSE, safety coordination, or related safety experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety practices and hazards.
• Experience supporting driver and vehicle safety programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, field audits, safety inspections, and corrective action tracking.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and achieve safety objectives with leadership.
• Promote zero-harm safety culture, electrical safety, and vehicle safety practices.
• Coach leaders and technicians on HSE expectations and electrical safety standards.
• Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations for compliance.
• Identify gaps in safety practices and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead investigations involving injuries, electrical incidents, and vehicle incidents.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Track injuries, incidents, and corrective actions with proper documentation.
• Manage driver safety program and analyze vehicle-related incidents.
• Deliver HSE training on electrical hazards and safe driving.
• Develop and update HSE policies, procedures, and communications.
• Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Travel up to 70% across the United States.
