Job summary

Pearce is seeking an HSE Specialist to advance health, safety, and environmental objectives across Solar, ESS, UPS, Battery, Wind, and EV operations. This field-focused role partners with operations to improve safety performance and drive investigations, training, and corrective actions.

You will travel frequently to support field operations nationwide, implement HSE programs, and coach leaders on electrical safety and driver safety practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HSE, safety coordination, or related safety experience, preferably supporting field operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety practices and hazards in field operations.
• Experience managing driver and vehicle safety programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, field audits, safety inspections, and corrective action tracking.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations; Cal/OSHA preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering safety training to field employees.
• Ability to analyze safety metrics and trends to provide preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and achieve safety objectives and performance metrics with HSE and Operations leadership.
• Promote a safety culture focused on zero harm, electrical safety, safe work practices, and vehicle incident prevention.
• Coach leaders and technicians on HSE expectations and electrical safety standards.
• Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations for regulatory and client compliance.
• Identify gaps in electrical and driver safety and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead and support investigations involving injuries and safety events.
• Track injuries, incidents, corrective actions, and HSE metrics with timely resolution.
• Travel up to 70% across the United States to support field operations.
