Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an HSE Specialist to advance health, safety, and environmental objectives across Solar, ESS, UPS, Battery, Wind, and EV operations. You will partner with operations to strengthen safety performance, with emphasis on electrical safety and driver safety.

You will implement and improve HSE programs, conduct field audits, investigate incidents, train employees, and travel extensively to support sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HSE or safety coordination in field-service ops that align with Solar/ESS/UPS/Battery/Wind/EV.
• Knowledge of electrical safety hazards in field operations.
• Experience managing driver and vehicle safety programs and incident prevention.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root-cause analysis; corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/EPA regs; Cal/OSHA preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety objectives with HSE and Operations leadership.
• Promote a zero-harm safety culture with emphasis on electrical safety and safe work practices.
• Coach leaders, managers, supervisors, and technicians on HSE expectations.
• Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and observations for compliance.
• Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans to address risks.
• Lead investigations into injuries, electrical incidents, vehicle incidents, and near misses.
• Track injuries, incidents, and corrective actions; ensure accurate documentation.
• Support driver safety program improvements and safety initiatives.
