Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to own health, safety, environment, and security governance on our U.S. wind project sites.

In this field-based role you will lead field teams, interact with EPCs and subcontractors, and drive proactive safety practices to protect personnel and assets. You will ensure MAESTRO compliance, review JHAs and lift plans, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and report KPIs to regional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience on construction projects, preferably wind energy.
OSHA 30 (Construction) certification required; wind-specific training preferred.
Leader in HSE for wind energy construction with EPCs and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Lead HSE activities for wind project construction, including turbine erection and crane ops.
Ensure contractor compliance with MAESTRO and HSE requirements.
Review HSE plans, JHAs, lift plans, and method statements.
Conduct site audits, track findings, close corrective actions.
Monitor KPIs and report HSE performance to leadership.
Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
Support OSHA and environmental compliance during construction.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety drills.
Promote TotalEnergies safety culture.
