Job summary

Americold is seeking an HR Generalist to support large-scale sites by managing onboarding, employee relations, investigations, and HR administration across teams. You will partner with local leaders to recruit, train, and retain talent while ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws.

Travel may be required up to 25%, and you will serve as the primary HR contact for policy inquiries, audits, and employee engagement initiatives, while maintaining confidential records and accurate HR

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with 3 years daily use.
• Experience with HRIS for data management and reporting.
• Spanish fluency may be required in certain markets.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and coach managers on HR performance and onboarding.
• Partner with local HR teams to meet headcount and recruiting goals.
• Liaise between corporate HR and site employees on HR issues and projects.
• Conduct HR audits and engage in employee engagement activities.
• Serve as primary contact for HR policy inquiries and investigations.
• Initiate job requisitions, process HR transactions, and maintain records.
• Provide backup payroll and HR admin support and compile HR reports.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
