Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in HR Management or Business Administration
• Experience administering benefits, training, recruitment, safety compliance, and workers' compensation
• Ability to draft formal HR responses and communicate policies in writing and verbally
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems

Responsibilities

• Assist management with interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and company policies
• Facilitate recruitment, pre-employment, and onboarding in compliance with regulations
• Serve as the local HR contact for policy communication and corporate initiatives
• Evaluate and facilitate continuous improvement of HR processes
• Advise management on coaching, counseling, performance management, and investigations
• Support management in developing performance improvement and employee development plans and provide training on policies
• Collaborate with senior management, vendors, and government offices to obtain HR information and process changes in the HR database
