Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a Field Human Resources Generalist to support HR across field offices and each employee in recruitment, compliance, employee relations, reporting and performance management. Regular travel to field locations and co-travelling with field personnel are expected as part of the role.

The position emphasizes partnership with field leaders, policy guidance, onboarding, and maintaining regulatory compliance across a multi-site operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business management, or related field.
• 3+ years in human resources with employee relations management.
• Ability to travel 50-60% to field locations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/HRM systems.
• Proficient with core MS Office suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide personnel policy guidance to employees and management.
• Coach and counsel field management on performance and development.
• Explain and respond to HR-related inquiries on safety, welfare, benefits, and education.
• Assist with field orientation, onboarding, and training across coverage area.
• Monitor morale and culture via surveys, visits, and data.
• Assist Hiring Managers with interviews as needed.
• Represent employer at local community and recruiting events.
• Record and process employee complaints and recommend investigations.
• Manage exit interviews and report to managers and Field HR leader.
• Update job requirements when needed and ensure documents in Workday.
• Maintain knowledge of employment law and compliance.
• Participate in special projects as requested.
