Job summary

Chaney Enterprises is seeking an approachable, organized HR Generalist to provide frontline HR support across our operations. You will report to an HR Business Partner and regularly visit sites to understand how each operation works and offer practical HR guidance.

This regional, field-based role requires travel to company locations, collaboration with managers, handling employee relations, onboarding, leave processes, and ensuring policy consistency while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an employee-facing Generalist or HR support role.
• Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy administration, or leave processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility with both frontline employees and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to assigned sites to provide accessible, in-person HR support to employees and managers.
• Build trusted relationships with employees, supervisors, and operational leaders.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, workplace concerns, HR policies, benefits, attendance, and other employment-related matters.
• Help managers address routine employee relations and performance concerns, escalating complex or higher-risk matters to the HR Business Partner.
• Conduct initial fact-finding conversations and support workplace investigations under the direction of the HR Business Partner.
• Assist managers with coaching conversations, performance documentation, corrective action, and consistent application of company policies.
