Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to translate health information technology capabilities into practical opportunities that improve patient identification, care coordination, and workflow efficiency across a broad US geography.

The role partners with health systems and cross-functional teams to ensure HIT deployments align with governance, privacy, and compliance while supporting strategic initiatives and customer needs in clinical workflows and population

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2 years of health informatics or EHR-related roles in a hospital, physician practice, or patient-care environment.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT, including major EHR platforms.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess workflows, EHR readiness, and data insights to identify compliant opportunities for improved care delivery and efficiency.
Educate customers on approved HIT resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement with internal partners.
