Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell tower sites across the region. The role fits independent, self-motivated individuals who are willing to travel and work in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Candidates should have two or more years of generator maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical/mechanical components, and be willing to comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of generators.
• Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure readiness.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and test for proper operation.
• Be responsible for responding promptly to Power/Generator alarms; on-call 24/7 if necessary.
