Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell tower sites across the region. The role suits independent, self-motivated individuals who are willing to travel and work in a fast-paced Telecom environment.

Core duties include maintenance, troubleshooting, and component installation, with on-call availability and adherence to safety standards, including OSHA.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of components.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Commitment to safety and ability to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, and upgrade generators and related systems.
• Perform performance checks and preventive maintenance per specs.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls; test for proper operation.
• Respond to alarms; available for on-call 24/7 as needed.
• Adhere to safety practices; participate in safety meetings.
