Job summary

Pearce is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers regionally. The role suits independent, self-starters willing to travel and be on-call. The job includes engaging with safety practices and responding to alarms promptly.

Two or more years of generator maintenance experience and knowledge of electrical components are preferred. Light travel and long hours may be required, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of generator installations and electrical/mechanical components; moderate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing components and upgrading equipment.
• Performing regular maintenance and readiness checks on generators; following blueprints and specs.
• Responding to alarms; on-call 24/7 when required; driving long distances as needed.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA standards during installations and maintenance.
