Job summary

Pearce is hiring a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across the region. If you are independent, self-motivated, and willing to travel, this role offers growth in a fast-paced telecom environment.

You will maintain generators, perform diagnostics, and install or replace components while adhering to safety standards and on-call requirements. A strong foundation in electrical maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware, and processes.
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiar with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair generators on cell towers; install/replace components.
• Perform performance checks and maintenance per blueprints or specifications.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, wiring, and controls and test operation.
• Respond promptly to alarms; be on-call 24/7 if necessary.
• Follow safety practices and attend designated safety/training meetings.
