Pearce is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. This role suits independent, self-starters who are willing to travel.

You will work in telecom environments, with on-site and travel requirements, a safety-focused culture, and a competitive benefits package. Candidates should have 2+ years generator maintenance experience and be able to respond to alarms 24/7.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of generator maintenance experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience with generator/electrical maintenance software and hardware
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair generators and related systems
• Install components, perform maintenance or upgrades
• Perform performance checks and read blueprints for installation or repair
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, and test operation
• Respond to alarms and be on call 24/7 as needed
• Adhere to safety practices and training
