Job summary

Pearce seeks a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on telecom towers across the region. The role rewards independence, on‑the‑road travel, and quick problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of generator maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to read blueprints. Occasional on‑call duties and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Moderate computer skills and familiarity with relevant regulations (FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, and performing maintenance or upgrades.
• Reading and following blueprints or design specifications for installation or repair.
• Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and test for proper operation.
• Responding to generator alarms and being on‑call 24/7 as needed.
• Adhering to safety practices and OSHA standards.
