Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell tower sites across the region. The role suits independent, self-starters who are willing to travel and be on call for emergencies.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in generator maintenance and basic knowledge of electrical components, with the ability to read blueprints and follow design specifications. OSHA safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install components or upgrade equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure readiness.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls; test operation.
• Respond to alarms and be on-call 24/7 if needed.
• Follow safety practices and attend safety/training meetings.
