Pearce is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across the region. The role suits self-motivated individuals comfortable with travel and a fast-paced telecom environment.

Two or more years of generator maintenance experience are preferred. Candidates must be able to lift heavy loads, work varied hours, and comply with OSHA standards while contributing to safe, reliable power systems.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work-related experience with generator/electrical maintenance software, hardware, and processes.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install/replace components, and perform upgrades on equipment.
• Conduct performance checks and maintenance to ensure readiness per specifications.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring and controls, and test for proper operation.
• Respond promptly to generator alarms; on-call 24/7 as needed; respond to calls/emails.
• Observe safety hazards and participate in safety meetings.
