Fairchild Equipment is seeking a skilled forklift service technician to repair, diagnose and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites. You will read work orders, inspect trucks in operation, and propose solutions that meet customer needs while maintaining a professional image and on-time reporting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of mechanical experience, and the ability to provide your own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of mechanic experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Repair, diagnose, inspect, and maintain all material handling equipment for customer work orders assigned to you.
• Accepts repair orders as assigned by Service Writer.
• Communicate with customer(s) on diagnosed repairs and obtain approvals.
